The Philly Book Bank is a non-profit organization based in Philadelphia, dedicated to fostering literacy by providing free, high-quality, and culturally diverse books to children from birth through high school. Located at Martin Luther King High School, the organization distributes books in bulk through community events, sidewalk libraries, and partnerships with various organizations. Over the past five years, the Philly Book Bank has distributed approximately 250,000 books to educators, community groups, and families, aiming to create literacy-rich environments and ensure that every child has access to books they can call their own
